JANESVILLE — In the days leading up to the 2024 Janesville Town Square Gran Prix cycling race Thursday, para-cyclists from throughout the country will be competing on the rural roads east of Janesville.
Rock County is hosting the 2024 Para-Cycling Road National Championships in the days leading up to the 15th annual Kwik Trip Tour of America’s Dairyland.
The championships will include opportunities to compete in a Road Race, Time Trial, C class Criterium and Handcycle Team Relay. Participants are then welcome to then race in ToAD’s Associated Bank Handcycle Classic.
The start-finish will be at Rock Prairie Presbyterian Church on County Highway A.
Highway A will be closed from Milton-Shopiere Road to Tarrant Road on Tuesday and from Henke Road to Tarrant Road Wednesday during the race.
