EDGERTON — The Wisconsin State Patrol is currently investigating a crash on I-39/90/94 near Edgerton involving a motorcycle and an SUV.
The crash happened at 12:18 p.m. on Wednesday June 5, 2024 on I-90 WB at mile marker 164.3 near the Newville exit.
All lanes of the I39/90 were temporarily closed in both directions while MedFlight was on scene.
MedFlight transported the motorcyclist, who is in serious condition. The name of the motorcyclist is
not being released at this time.
The driver of the SUV was uninjured. The name of the driver is not being released at this time.
The Wisconsin State Patrol will be conducting the reconstruction and crash investigation.
Assisting agencies included UW MedFlight, Rock County Sheriff’s Office, Janesville Police
Department, Edgerton Fire Department, Edgerton EMS, and Rock County Highway Department.
