JANESVILLE — A dozen umbrellas were stolen over the weekend from the patio tables outside of Luke’s Deli off Milton Avenue.

In a social media post, the restaurant said they were stolen sometime over the weekend.

“Stealing from our small business hurts,” they wrote. “Our side patio is still shaded. Hope to see you soon.”

Outdoor dining exploded during the pandemic, and many Janesville restaurants have continued to upgrade their outdoor dining facilities

The umbrellas are blue with Pepsi logos around the edges.

The restaurant has been a longtime fixture at the corner of Mt. Zion and Milton Avenue on Janesville’s east side.

They feature fresh food made quickly while you wait, including a large menu of sandwiches, soups and salads.
